Antipolíticas was founded by Gaby Riffle-Gonzalez, a 2nd Generation Cuban-American & Marine Corps Veteran.
Gaby’s family journey spans continents and centuries. In the 19th century, her ancestors left Spain for Cuba, driven by political upheaval and unrest. A century later, the Cuban Revolution forced her family to flee again in 1961, this time to the United States, settling in South Florida and Puerto Rico. The stories her grandparents would tell her of their “Orgullosa Isla” left Gaby yearning to reconnect with the vibrant Spanish and Cuban cultures she could only glimpse through family stories and the traditions kept alive in South Florida during her upbringing.
Antipolíticas is her tribute to those roots, a bold celebration of heritage preserved despite displacement at the hands of corrupt politicians disguised as revolutionaries and those who brought them to power by conforming to the prevailing sentiment.
